Recently I linked my Facebook Fan Page to Twitter so I started tweeting everything I posted on my wall. Well, I couldn’t make it stop. I didn’t want to tweet everything and couldn’t find the setting. I only wanted to tweet some things and there wasn’t an option for that. Completely got my undies in a bundle.
Here’s how you unlink your accounts – plus it’s a good thing to know for other applications that might be linked to your Twitter account. You may be surprised at what applications you have allows access into your Twitter account!
Now the other thing you can do is go to http://www.facebook.com/twitter/ and update your settings. Either way, you are good.

I did a lot of “revoking!” Meanwhile, I “Liked” your FB page so I can stay in-the-loop on other helpful tips. Yes, that problem is going to be in the Apps area of your Twitter account. Go up to the little outline of a person in the upper righthand corner and click on it. Select Settings. Then on the left sidebar you’ll see a menu item that says Apps. Look through that list and revoke access of any app that looks like it might be automatically sending your posts to Facebook. Hope that helps!
saqib – go to settings, then profile, and check your selections under the ‘connect to facebook’ section toward page bottom. de-select the option to post to your page. it should solve your problem, and keep your posts connected to your personal profile on FB.
Great, have one question- is there anyway I can have selected tweets being posted on FB? I tweet a lot and therefore my FB friends get spammed a lot

You can either use a tool like Hootsuite or Tweetdeck to choose when you want to send your tweet to Facebook too. Or you can use the Selective Tweets app where you will just add a #fb hashtag at the end of your tweet you want to send to your Facebook profile Here’s how:

So how do I stop my facebook page from posting to my twitter?
Go into your Twitter account, click the wheel in the upper right hand corner, and select Settings. Then click Apps on the left sidebar. Now Revoke access from any App that says Facebook and you should be all set!
