That’s right, you can’t directly invite the Fans of your Facebook Fan Page to an Event you create on your Fan Page. It’s not right! And it’s making Grandma Mary even crankier. But there are a couple of work-arounds. You can “Update” your Fans. But not everyone notices the Updates that are tucked to the side of the Inbox. (Note that Facebook may be changing the visibility of these Updates in their next release!)
The other solution is to take the URL of the event and post it as a link onto your wall and then tell your Fans to click on the link and RSVP. Again, not pretty. But that’s what we are stuck with. Here’s my video tutorial.
