Hot LinkedIn Marketing Tips with Viveka von Rosen

Have you been wondering how to get started on LinkedIn?  What should you be doing?  How long does it take?  Well, you are in for a hot treat!  I spent some time talking with the fabulous, Viveka von Rosen, author of LinkedIn Marketing: An Hour a Day.  This woman is a LinkedIn Goddess!

We first talked about her new book and got to the bottom of the “an hour a day” title.  The good news is, you don’t have to spend an hour a day to get big results with LinkedIn.  We also talked about what to do to get started (don’t just dive in willy nilly), how to use the new Endorsements feature, and why you should start a Company Page.

Watch the interview here:

And make sure you get a copy of her book: LinkedIn Marketing: An Hour a Day

She also mentioned a tip on adding the LinkedIn Bookmarklet tool to your browser toolbar to make it easy to share articles to LinkedIn Groups or as your status update.  Here is how you do that:

Now chime in and tell us how you are using LinkedIn for your business?  Let us know in the comments below!

  • Great article. I am just starting to investigate Linkedin more closely now including ads, which I must say I am skeptical about but they gave me free credit to give it a go! 🙂 But probably the best way to go about Linkedin is the tried old advice of set yourself up as an expert and help people out notably through the Linkedin Answers section. Just started doing this so am curious to see results.
